I works only on cordless phones; not land lines. Product does exactly as it is described to do.
The voice sounds are usually quieter than the game sounds so it is very hard to hear when they are both coming out of my speakers--not to mention also distorted from conflicting noises. The headset itself is very comfortable and light. Audio from the ear piece is excellent.
I also love the ability to control both the incoming volume and the mic volume. The design is futuristic, which I like.
I bought this product to use with online chatting while playing games. The voice is very clear when transmitting.
The mute button is very accessible, but not easy to accidently trigger.I hightly recommend this product for any gamer or professional voice typist. I love the ability to switch output of the chat audio to the headset so that the voices are not coming from my speakers and interfering with my game sounds.
I do not feel like it is chaining me down to anything.
I think a good idea for those with pcs. Its not. I am on the phone a lot via Skype. Just type in the product code in the Search field on the home page.
Hopefully I will save someone some time here. May keep it for my house phone. I find the headset very comfortable and I like having a good amount of cord with the headset. If this is listed somewhere I missed it.
Too bad. We'll see. I made the assumption that USB was really "universal". [.].
I find it to be very good headset for the price. The replacement met the same ending of the ear piece breaking because I snagged it too much. The price is affordable. I am considering purchasing another one but unsure of at the moment. I have had this product for over a year. The Good- Generally comfortable- Nice mouthpiece- Lightweight- Can work with your headset or computer- Nothing wrapped around the headThe Okay- Cord can snag on things and the ear piece will rip out of your ear (This is partly due to me).- People struggle to hear you at times when they are on cell phones or speaker phonesBecause the cord would snag, ultimately I had to get it replaced. Customer support was really helpful and replaced it within a couple of weeks.
The earpiece isn't even shaped properly. I didn't even get a chance to test the sound quality becasue I couldn't keep it on. Because I couldn't get this thing to fit my ear. I felt as though I was trying to shove a golf ball in my ear. Maybe my ears are just too weird for the average human, but this thing was a total loss for me. Even when seated properly, the slightest movement causes the earpiece to dislodge from the ear, the rubber support to droop, and the boom to fly outward. I then had to gently wrestle this contraption back into place only to have it happen again moments later.
